Parent-child workshops
For parents, these workshops are a gateway to Waldorf pedagogy. For children, they are the first steps towards socialization. Parent-child workshops are based on the Waldorf kindergarten rhythm, to ensure a smooth transition.
The workshops are :
- a time for parents to meet and share
- an opportunity to observe children in a social space using Waldorf pedagogy
- an opportunity to learn how to make handmade toys for children
Promoting children's overall development
At the Parent-Child workshops, children play freely while parents make small toys. Together, they explore movement and dexterity games, and develop the art of speech by singing and reciting seasonal rhymes. These activities encourage the development of coordination, imagination, language and a sense of rhythm. The morning concludes with a shared snack and a moment of outdoor play.
