In response to a very real need, École Rudolf Steiner de Montréal is collaborating with a working group on diversity and inclusion, in line with the recommendations of the AWSNA (Association of Waldorf Schools of North America), from which the school obtains its accreditation.
The group is made up of school staff and parents with a strong commitment to this issue, and its mission is to raise awareness among families and teachers through tangible actions such as a book collection, various workshops and weekly readings.
“Promoting the principles of diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) is one of AWSNA’s strategic priorities. These priorities place equity and inclusion at the heart of our work and aim to bring us closer to the world we want for our young people.”
